Structured as an independent 501-C4, County Services Support (CSS) is a service-based arm supporting members of the Utah Association of Counties. The organization was designed to be responsive to the needs of individual counties, who through certain circumstances and situations, find it challenging to provide an efficient and effective delivery of services needed by the county.
For example, the cost of health insurance is very expensive for a lot of Utah’s counties, particularly those in rural areas without a large base of employees. Organizing under CSS, the counties are able to pool their employee base and resources to provide a cost-effective solution that drives down costs and provides a more attractive benefit package to recruit and retain quality employees.
Currently, CSS is offering __ different services in categories that span healthcare to IT. The organization is also exploring ideas and needs in other areas and will continue to do so as the counties express a need.
